Residential emergency attendance
LOCKPOINT 24/7 arranges residential locksmith attendance through employed technicians and trusted subcontractors. We aim to arrange arrival within 30 minutes. Arrival times can be affected by location, traffic, weather, access and technician availability.
Authority to request access
You must have the legal right to access the residential property. The technician may request identification, proof of address, tenancy information or another reasonable form of evidence before starting.
Estimates and pricing
Information provided by telephone or WhatsApp may be used to give an initial indication. The final price depends on the door, lock, fault, time and work required. The technician will assess the problem and explain the proposed work and price before starting. Additional work must be explained before it is carried out.
Non-destructive entry
Non-destructive methods are used whenever reasonably possible. Some failed, damaged or high-security residential locks may require drilling, replacement or other work. The technician will explain this before proceeding.
Replacement parts guarantee
Eligible replacement locks and cylinders supplied and fitted by us carry a 6 month parts guarantee. The guarantee does not cover misuse, accidental damage, attempted break-in, third-party interference, normal wear, door movement or alignment faults, pre-existing defects, or damage outside the supplied part.
Payment
Card and cash payments are accepted, subject to the attending technician's available payment method. Payment is due when the agreed work is completed unless different terms are confirmed in writing.
Cancellations
Tell us immediately if access is regained or the service is no longer needed. Costs may apply if a technician has already travelled or arrived. Any applicable charge should be explained based on the circumstances.
Immediate danger
If a child, vulnerable person or anyone else is locked inside the home and is in immediate danger, call 999.
